Mugs Ale House, silkscreen print handmade in Brooklyn by John Tebeau

Mugs Ale House is the first bar I ever went to in Brooklyn. Yep. My friends Jon and Jeff took me there and fed me marvelous beers. It's one of the places that made Williamsburg what it was before it was Williamsburg. And it's still there. Still chill, right there on Bedford.

This art is featured in the book Bars, Taverns, and Dives New Yorkers Love by John Tebeau, published by Rizzoli in March, 2018.

Anyway, these three-color silkscreen prints celebrate Mugs' awesomeness on 16" by 20" 100% cotton, acid-free, heavyweight Stonehenge paper. Designed by Brooklyn artist John Tebeau, they're printed by hand at Gowanus Print Lab near Brooklyn's Gowanus canal, our very own neighborhood Superfund site!

Prints are signed and numbered and limited to an edition of 100.

Prints will ship flat, via US first-class mail, free of charge in the U.S.

A framed version is also available (for New York City pickup only), in a thin black metal frame.
